CLOUD & WEB INFRASTRUCTURE

Reliable infrastructure for everything your business runs online.

From domains and professional email to hosting, AWS and Azure, build a dependable digital foundation without unnecessary complexity.

Foundation first

Infrastructure should support the business—not become another problem to manage.

Every website, application, email account and digital service depends on infrastructure that users rarely notice until something fails. Zimpl helps organisations select, configure and manage the essential layers behind their digital operations.

Our approach is deliberately practical. A small corporate website does not need the same architecture as a transaction-heavy application. We first understand availability, security, performance, recovery, integration and budget requirements, then recommend an appropriate platform.

Cloud infrastructure
Capabilities

From your domain name to enterprise cloud.

Use individual services or let Zimpl manage the connected infrastructure behind your digital presence and applications.

Domains & DNS

Registration, renewal, DNS configuration, subdomains, redirects and management of digital identities.

Professional Email

Business email setup and migration, aliases, shared addresses and mailbox planning.

Google Workspace

Configuration and migration for Gmail, Drive, Calendar and collaboration, including domain and user administration.

Web Hosting

Managed environments for corporate websites, CMS platforms and web applications.

Cloud Hosting

Flexible compute, storage and application environments when conventional hosting no longer fits.

AWS & Microsoft Azure

Architecture, deployment and migration using leading public-cloud services selected for the workload.

SSL & Web Security

TLS/SSL, secure deployment practices, access controls and appropriate infrastructure hardening.

Backup & Recovery

Backup and recovery planning based on acceptable data loss and downtime.

Monitoring & Maintenance

Operational checks, patching, capacity awareness and support to reduce avoidable incidents.

Right-sized architecture

Not every workload belongs in a complicated cloud environment.

Cloud platforms are powerful, but complexity carries cost. We assess traffic, application architecture, data sensitivity, integrations, recovery expectations and growth before deciding how sophisticated the infrastructure needs to be.

That may lead to managed web hosting, a virtual server, containerised deployment, object storage, managed databases, content delivery, or a broader AWS or Azure architecture. The objective is an environment the business can operate confidently—not the maximum number of cloud services.

When clients usually contact us

A website is slow or unreliable. Email needs to move to a professional platform. Domain/DNS ownership is unclear. An application has outgrown shared hosting. A company wants to move workloads to AWS or Azure. A new system needs a secure production environment.

Migration

Move carefully and keep dependencies visible.

01

Assess

Inventory domains, DNS, applications, databases, mailboxes, storage and integrations.

02

Plan

Define the target environment, sequence, backups, testing and rollback requirements.

03

Migrate

Transfer services, data and configuration while managing continuity and DNS changes.

04

Verify

Validate functionality, security, performance, backups and monitoring after cutover.

Reliability & continuity

Think beyond whether the server is online.

Reliable infrastructure also means knowing whether data can be restored, whether domain and DNS ownership is controlled, whether administrative access is protected, and whether the environment is documented well enough to support when something goes wrong.

For business-critical workloads we discuss recovery expectations, backup retention, access responsibility, monitoring and operational ownership as part of the design. Security controls are selected according to the application and risk rather than added as a generic checklist.

FAQ

Cloud & infrastructure questions

Do we need AWS or Azure for a normal company website?

Not necessarily. Managed conventional hosting is often simpler and more economical. Public cloud becomes useful when workload, architecture, availability, integration or scalability requirements justify it.

Can Zimpl migrate our email to Google Workspace?

Yes. Planning can include domains, DNS, users, mailboxes, aliases and cutover. The exact method depends on the current provider and environment.

Can you host custom business applications?

Yes. We can recommend and configure an environment appropriate to the application architecture, database, storage, traffic, security and recovery needs.

Can you take over an existing hosting environment?

Usually yes, provided the organisation has the necessary ownership and administrative access. We first document the current setup before changing it.

Do you provide backup and recovery planning?

Yes. We can define backup frequency, retention and recovery procedures based on system importance and acceptable downtime or data loss.

Planning a migration or new cloud deployment?
